It's Monday! What are you reading? (2)

Hello, there! This is a lovely meme hosted at Book Journey. You simply say what you read last week, and you what you plan on reading next this week. It's a good way to get ideas about new books.

Last week was a bad reading week for me.;) I was busy babysitting my cousin's 3-year-old, and then I had my own chores to do, so reading, I'm afraid, came last. Yikes!

WHAT I READ:
The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield (re-read)
Lord Arthur Seville's Crime by Oscar Wilde (short story, re-read)
The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde (short story, re-read)

CURRENTLY READING:
Footsteps by Katharine McMahon
The Flame and the Flower (Kathleen E. Woodiwiss)
Two novels at a time? Against my rules, but there you go.;)

WHAT TO READ NEXT:
Hopefully, one of the novels I'm currently reading.
+
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens (also, hopefully; I want more time for books!)

What are you reading this week?

The Thirteenth Tale is on my TBR shelf, but I haven't read it yet. Question: Why would you take the time to reread when there are so many wonderful books out there?

Hi! I found your blog through the blog-hop.

I love reading many of the same genres you do, especially historical fiction, so I definitely look forward to reading your reviews! :)

Feel free to stop by my new blog: EscapismThroughBooks.blogspot.com.

Thanks! :)

@Julie: I don't often re-read books. That's a rare thing for me, but sometimes I have this incredible urge to re-read something that left a lasting impression on me.
