I hope ALi Shaw writes a new book, I need more by him. Such an imagination
Didn't even occur to me to include Jane Eyre - great call!
Great list! The only one I've read (so far) is Jane Eyre and I wholeheartedly agree with that pick.
I loved Garden Spells and Interview with a Vampire!
Reading Lark's Top 10
I've seen The Thirteenth Tale on several lists, and I think it's an excellent addition. I've never read it, but The Girl with the Glass Feet sounds intriguing. Nice list, and thanks for sharing!
I've only read #4 on your list and I didn't really like it.
I know that I have at least #s 1, 2, 8, 9 & 10 sitting on my shelves though!
I didn't realize that Jane Eyre was Charlotte's firs novel. Very interesting. Great list of debut novels.
I've read several of these and I agree with your choices. My aunt keeps pushing me to read some Kate Morton but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I've heard a lot of good things about her!
I loved The Thirteenth Tale, P.S. I Love You, The Time Traveller's Wife, The House at Riverton, Jane Eyre and Interview With a Vampire! Sometimes an author's debut novel is the their best isn't it!
