
This may be old news to some of you, but I found some lovely new Penguin hardcover editions of popular classic novels. I have a thing for hardcover editions of the classics and the Penguin editions have beautiful, simple and vintage-looking covers. If you are interested, check the covers HERE.
Did any cover in particular catch your eye? I must say that the cover for The Hound of the Baskervilles looks very lovely.

I bought one for my friend who LOVES Wuthering Heights and she loves it.
They're so different and make the book seem more special...

Interesting, I wonder what they looked like when they first were published. Are these similar?
Jan, I think there might be some similarities between some covers. I believe the Victorians would have used floral patterns, but in this style, yes.
